Meet my sweetie, the Snake Plant 'Jaboa'! This unique and rare variety of Snake Plant has wider leaves than most other snake plants, with interesting smudged, light green spots. Like other Sansevieria, these plants are extremely hardy and low maintenance. They prefer bright, non-direct light but can adjust to high or low light conditions, and can be left a long time without watering. The easiest way to kill a snake plant is by overwatering, so only water when the soil is completely dry.
Lighting: Bright, non-direct light. Don't worry if you can't provide that, it's flexible and can thrive in various lighting conditions.
Watering: Only water when the soil is completely dry. Yes, it's that simple! No fuss, no muss.
Humidity: Normal humidity levels are fine. No need to create a rainforest environment for this plant.
Soil: Well-draining soil. Don't go out of your way, regular potting soil will do the trick.
Fertilizer: Feed it with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Don't overdo it, just a little snack for your plant.
Temperature: Room temperature. If you're comfortable, your plant is comfortable. Easy peasy!
That's it, folks! Easy care, just like my other plants. Now, go ahead and give this sweetie a home.
