Succulent Aloe Solar Flare
Aloe 'Solar Flare' is a compact growing Aloe, staying under 12" tall and wide. A perfect size for growing indoors in a sunny window. Taller bloom spikes hold bright orange, tubular flowers.
Lighting: Place your Aloe 'Solar Flare' in a sunny window with plenty of natural light. Direct sunlight for 4-6 hours a day is ideal, but indirect light will also keep it happy.
Watering: Water your Aloe 'Solar Flare' sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of death in succulents, so it's better to err on the side of caution. Watering once a week is a good rule of thumb, but this may vary depending on your climate and the time of year.
Humidity: Aloe 'Solar Flare' prefers a relatively low humidity environment, making it perfect for indoor growing. If you live in a particularly humid climate, ensure good air circulation around your plant to prevent rot.
Soil: Use a well-draining cactus mix to prevent waterlogged soil. You can also create your own mix using perlite, vermiculite, and sand to achieve good drainage.
Fertilizer: Feed your Aloe 'Solar Flare' during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. Dilute the fertilizer to half the recommended strength to avoid burning the roots.
Temperature: Keep your Aloe 'Solar Flare' in an area with a consistent temperature between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid placing it near drafts, air conditioning vents, or extreme temperatures.
